MFLCF Firecracker 107 Ride Information and Maps

In 2010 this ride was a 2 day – 110 mile ride from Camp Lejeune, NC to Fayetteville, Ft Bragg, NC. We had a great time and made some good friends along the way.  This year we have changed the format to a single day ride with graduated start points along the route.  We will have modified the original 110 mile route beginning at the edge of Jacksonville, NC.  and will now ride a 107 miler.  The changes were based on last years experience and some suggestions by local riders.  If you are interested in shorter routes I will publish the other start locations after Jan 2011.  Our intent is for everyone to finish at the US Army Airborne and Special Operations Museum in downtown Fayetteville, NC.

I would encourage each of you to attend the fireworks on Ft Bragg (best in the world) to celebrate the birthdate of this fantastic country.

All proceeds from this ride will go to the Military Family LifeStyle Charitable Foundation.

Every one is welcome to ride and all 107 miles will be fully supported.  2010 Riders include retired servicemembers, current service members, and civilians who wanted to support the efforts of the soldier, sailor, airman and marines who are keeping the United States a safe and free place to live.

If you would like to donate money toward our cause, or join the ride the fee is $45 and you can register by clicking the donate button on the right side of this site on the HOME page.  Make sure that you list in the “purpose” line if you are simply making a donation or if you intend to ride with us and your contact info.  If you would like more information please contact Jerry at 704-724-4362 or e-mail morrisj@mflcf.org

The routes are in “Ride With GPS” and are public so every one should be able to see them.

All of these should be downloadable as files for just about any GPS you might have but I know they work on the Garmin Edge series units.
